Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
- Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making.
Are You the Right Fit?
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
Requirements:
- Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Previous experience in children and families social work.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
- Full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes quality assurance and training roles for foster parents. You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
