Here, you’ll deliver planned, structured repairs and servicing directly to our members, whether at their driveway or workplace car park.

As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:

• Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £40,178, with potential on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
• Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your base salary to £44,385 with guaranteed overtime options, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
• Structured Hours: Work 40 hours a week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and just 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Daily Adventure

Each day begins with a clear schedule, and you’ll be responsible for:

• Routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop.
• Providing member advice and recommendations based on your inspections.
• Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards.

From day one, you’ll have everything you need: a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set, and advanced diagnostics. Your technical skills will shine as you help our members get back on the road safely and confidently.

What You’ll Need

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
