Are you ready to make a difference in the world of wastewater and sludge treatment? We’re on the lookout for passionate Commissioning Engineers to join our dynamic team within the Severn Trent Framework, based across the beautiful Midlands.

About the Role

As a vital member of our collaborative commissioning team, you’ll work closely with the Commissioning Manager and a multi-discipline team dedicated to achieving timely project handovers. This is your chance to shine if you have electrical commissioning experience and thrive in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment!

Your Responsibilities

In your role as an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will:

  • Inspect and test electrical power and control systems, including motors, inverter drives, flow meters, and instrumentation.
  • Conduct functional testing of systems and wet commissioning of pumps, blowers, and compressors.
  • Identify and resolve electrical issues through effective troubleshooting and fault finding.
  • Complete detailed commissioning reports and marked-up as-built drawings to support project handover.
  • Ensure all commissioning activities comply with Electrical Site Safety Rules and Health and Safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You hold a minimum City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 qualification and an ECS (JIB) Gold Card.
  • You have experience commissioning water MEICA projects and knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.
  • You’re qualified to carry out Authorised Person (LV) duties.
  • You possess strong technical skills in electrical engineering, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively and building positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
