About the Role
As a vital member of our collaborative commissioning team, you’ll work closely with the Commissioning Manager and a multi-discipline team dedicated to achieving timely project handovers. This is your chance to shine if you have electrical commissioning experience and thrive in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment!
Your Responsibilities
In your role as an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will:
- Inspect and test electrical power and control systems, including motors, inverter drives, flow meters, and instrumentation.
- Conduct functional testing of systems and wet commissioning of pumps, blowers, and compressors.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues through effective troubleshooting and fault finding.
- Complete detailed commissioning reports and marked-up as-built drawings to support project handover.
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with Electrical Site Safety Rules and Health and Safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You hold a minimum City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 qualification and an ECS (JIB) Gold Card.
- You have experience commissioning water MEICA projects and knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.
- You’re qualified to carry out Authorised Person (LV) duties.
- You possess strong technical skills in electrical engineering, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- You enjoy working collaboratively and building positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
