With remote working options available, you can enjoy the flexibility of working from home while spending three days a week on-site.
About the Role
As part of our exciting £3.1bn Strategic Development Partnership with Southern Water, you’ll play a crucial role in our Commercial team. This is your chance to contribute to meaningful projects while developing your career in a supportive environment that values your input and wellbeing.
Your Responsibilities
In your role as a Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Manage project finances, including preparing applications for payment and monitoring costs.
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors and clients to ensure smooth financial processes.
- Support procurement activities and provide commercial evaluations.
- Identify changes and assist with Change Control procedures.
- Ensure all contractual notifications are correctly in place.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You have experience with NEC contracts with Target Costs.
- You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy building relationships across teams.
- You have experience in the construction, water, or civil infrastructure sectors.
- You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- You possess strong communication skills and enjoy engaging with clients.
