Salary: Up to £40,081.10 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location:
Enjoy a hybrid working model while supporting our Foster Parents across Birmingham, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton, and surrounding areas. Occasional travel to our regional head office in Bromsgrove is expected.

Your Role:
As a Senior/Supervising Social Worker, you will:
- Support foster parents to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
- Monitor the suitability and competence of foster parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Provide regular supervision to foster parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
- Collaborate with the child's network to identify needs and resources.
- Ensure compliance with all key documentation for children and foster parents.
- Participate in meetings and provide reports for Commissioning Teams.
- Encourage participation of children/young people in agency development.
- Be part of an out-of-hours support service on a rota basis.
- Conduct occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
What You Need:
- A Social Work qualification and professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality reports.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays.
- Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations.
- A full driving licence.
