Welcome to SMR! Unlike traditional roadside rescue, our division focuses on delivering planned, structured repairs and servicing directly to our members. Say goodbye to emergency callouts and unpredictable shifts! Here’s what you can expect:
- Work through a scheduled list of jobs.
- Utilize advanced mobile equipment for diagnostics.
- Perform in-depth repairs typically done in a workshop.
- Provide member advice and conduct vehicle safety checks.
Your Work Environment
As part of the Taunton cluster, you’ll cover areas like Taunton, Wellington, Minehead, Watchet, and Williton. Enjoy the freedom of working in your local area with a clearly planned schedule of appointments!
What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
