About the School
Located in Banbury, Oxfordshire, our school has the capacity for up to 84 pupils, providing a safe and supportive environment for children aged 5 to 18 with a range of complex needs. We believe in fostering a positive atmosphere where every child feels valued, respected, and empowered. Our holistic approach ensures that academic progress goes hand-in-hand with emotional well-being and personal growth.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a School Administrator, you will play a vital role in our community. Your responsibilities will include:

Reception Duties:
- Provide a warm welcome for parents, visitors, and colleagues.
- Answer the telephone in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure visitors sign in and receive a visitor's badge.
- Maintain the shared calendar and update school information.
- Assist with parents' evenings and other evening events.

Administrative Support:
- Support the head teacher and school management team with full administrative tasks.
- Manage resource ordering and keep processes efficient.
- Distribute internal and external correspondence.
- Liaise with transport services for pupil transport.

Requirements and Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Strong organizational skills with a systematic approach to workload management.
- Experience in developing systems and processes.
- Proficiency in SIMS and relevant policies/codes of practice.
- The ability to work constructively as part of a team.
- A commitment to confidentiality and self-evaluation of learning needs.
The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Education.
Working Conditions and Benefits
This is a Term Time Only position, with a basic salary of £21,257.48 for 37.5 hours per week. We offer:
