We provide an integrated range of support services, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all working collaboratively to help foster parents and the children they care for. Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our foster parents and ensuring high-quality care for children. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload, allowing for meaningful supervision.
- Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Previous experience in children and families social work.
- A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
- A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.
