At the Integrated Services Programme (ISP), we are looking for a dedicated Supervising Social Worker to join our team in South London - Cheam. With over 30 years of experience, we have always placed the child at the heart of our mission, providing a comprehensive range of support services tailored to their needs. Our Integrated Services Programme ensures that children and foster parents have access to a network of professionals, including social workers, therapists, and educators, all working together to create a nurturing environment.

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:

  • Provide direct support to foster parents, managing a realistic caseload that allows for meaningful supervision.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions, monitoring practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a qualified and experienced professional who is enthusiastic and committed to fostering. To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
  • A full driving licence and unrestricted access to your own car.
  • Excellent report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Working Conditions

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that combines quality assurance and training roles for both prospective and current foster parents. You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
