Position: Full Time/Permanent (Casual)
Salary: £12.79 - £14.50 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Location: Poole
Specific Hours: Shift pattern on rotation - ad hoc cover

We are on the lookout for passionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Poole on a casual basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly, covering shifts as needed, with no contractual obligations. You will be part of a collaborative team that tailors care packages to meet the unique needs of each young person.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Provide support and guidance to children and young adults, promoting their welfare and safeguarding.
- Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with our young people.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, accepting direction and guidance.
- Encourage the development of individual interests and skills in our young people.
- Be flexible in your availability to cover shifts, including sickness and annual leave.
- Complete sleep-in shifts as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children and young people, with an understanding of the challenges they face.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work well in a small team.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car for travel.
- Desirable: Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma, Children and Young People's Workforce, NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or a willingness to work towards a Level 4 diploma.
- Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is advantageous.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us).
