Founded in 1987 by a group of committed foster parents, ISP is proud to be the UK's first independent foster care agency. With over 30 years of experience, we have built a strong foundation of support for looked-after children, ensuring they receive the specialized care they need. Our Integrated Services Programme surrounds children and foster parents with a network of professionals, including social workers, teachers, and therapists, all working together to create a nurturing environment.

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
• Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. To thrive in this position, you should have:

• A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
• Previous experience in children and families social work.
• A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
• A full driving license and unrestricted access to your own car.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position based in Cheam, South London. You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
