Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our foster parents and ensuring the highest standards of care for the children we serve. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload, ensuring high levels of supervision.
- Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessment, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
- Has a full driving license and unrestricted access to a car.
Working Conditions
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes both quality assurance and training roles for prospective and current foster parents. You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
