Your Rewarding Role Awaits

As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:

  • Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £40,170, with potential on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
  • Guaranteed Overtime: Opt-in for guaranteed overtime after your first month, earning £30 per hour for extra days worked.
  • Flexible Hours: Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

What to Expect

Your day will kick off with a clear digital schedule, allowing you to:

  • Perform routine servicing
  • Utilize advanced mobile diagnostics
  • Conduct in-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
  • Provide member advice based on your inspections
  • Carry out vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards

With no emergency callouts or unpredictable shifts, you’ll have the time and tools to deliver quality work, ensuring our members are back on the road safely and confidently.

What You’ll Need

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
