Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for a Road Lighting Design Engineer to join our dynamic Design team, working remotely across the UK with occasional office visits. Location: Nationwide - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 40 hours per week - flexible hours available!

Salary: Starting from £36,000 per annum

Sector: Design - Highways

As a vital member of our collaborative Road Lighting Design team, you will:

• Deliver safe, sustainable lighting solutions for major clients like National Highways and Transport for London.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Deliver road lighting and electrical design tasks to agreed time, cost, and quality standards.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and reports using tools like AutoCAD and Dialux.
• Develop safe, buildable, and compliant design solutions in collaboration with project teams.
• Apply health & safety, quality, and environmental requirements throughout the design process.
• Support junior team members and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

• Hold an HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Are IEng qualified or working towards professional registration with the IET or ILP.
• Possess the ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma or equivalent road lighting expertise.
• Have experience in road lighting and electrical design within the highways sector.
• Hold a full driving licence.
