Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Bias Engineer to join our dedicated team at Neath Port Talbot Hospital in beautiful Wales!

Location & Hours

Location: Neath Port Talbot Hospital, Port Talbot

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Shifts include: Days 08:00-16:30, Morning 06:00-14:00, Afternoons 14:00-22:00). We offer some flexibility on hours, so just let us know your preferences when you reach out!

Your Role

As a Multi-Skilled Electrical Bias Engineer, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our facilities run smoothly and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your electrical expertise while working in a supportive team environment. You’ll be delivering essential engineering services across the hospital site, maintaining safe, compliant, and customer-focused operations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and installation works, ensuring all SLA/KPI targets are met.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on systems and equipment, taking ownership of your tasks.
  • Install new plant and equipment while upholding excellent standards.
  • Contribute to asset management by providing regular updates and condition ratings.
  • Identify additional work requirements and prepare material and labor estimates.

What We’re Looking For

  • You hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in electrical engineering, including 18th Edition certification.

  • You possess strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and solid technical knowledge.
