Are you ready to make a difference? We're on the lookout for passionate Commissioning Engineers to join our dynamic team within the Severn Trent Framework, located across the beautiful Midlands.

Location: Midlands
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility available, just let us know when we chat!

Your Role

As a vital member of our collaborative commissioning team, you will play a key role in delivering successful wastewater and sludge treatment projects. Working closely with the Commissioning Manager, you’ll be part of a supportive, multi-discipline team focused on achieving timely project handovers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical commissioning experience who thrives on variety, problem-solving, and working in a dynamic environment where your technical skills will truly shine!

Your Responsibilities

As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will:

  • Inspect and test electrical power and control systems, including motors, inverter drives, flow meters, and instrumentation.
  • Carry out functional testing of systems and wet commissioning of pumps, blowers, and compressors.
  • Identify and resolve electrical issues through effective troubleshooting and fault finding.
  • Complete detailed commissioning reports and marked-up as-built drawings to support project handover.
  • Ensure all commissioning activities comply with Electrical Site Safety Rules and Health and Safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You hold a minimum City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 qualification and ECS (JIB) Gold Card.
  • You have experience commissioning water MEICA projects and knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.
  • You’re qualified to carry out Authorised Person (LV) duties.
  • You possess strong technical skills in electrical engineering with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team and building positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
