Your Role and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the national curriculum while addressing the complex SEMH needs of our pupils.
• Support your class team in creating enriching learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress, collaborating with staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
• Build strong relationships with your pupils to enhance interaction and drive positive learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
• Previous successful teaching experience, particularly with SEMH pupils.
• Experience in behavior management techniques.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn.
• Must be prepared to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, with the cost covered by Polaris Education.
