Your Role and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the national curriculum while addressing the complex SEMH needs of our pupils.
- Support your class team in creating enriching learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress, collaborating with staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
- Build strong relationships with your pupils to enhance interaction and drive positive learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
- Previous successful teaching experience, particularly with SEMH pupils.
- Experience in behavior management techniques.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn.
- Must be prepared to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
