We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our nurturing team, working together to achieve the best outcomes for our pupils and making a real difference in their lives.
The Role
As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:
- Teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant.
- Plan, prepare, and present lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of your students.
- Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and professionals to maintain high educational standards.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students and their families.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning.
- Create and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures in line with our values.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Successful experience in SEN teaching.
- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every pupil.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
