About the Role
Join our vibrant team as a lifeguard at Splash Waterworld, where your primary mission is to ensure our guests have a fantastic and safe experience! Your keen attention to detail will be essential as you monitor the pool and flumes, all while engaging with guests and delivering top-notch customer service.
In this part-time role, you’ll work 8 hours over the weekend, either split between Saturday and Sunday or in a single full day. We also see increased activity during school holidays, including half-terms, summer, and Christmas. Compensation is £12.71 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure guest safety in and around the pool area.
- Engage with guests to create memorable experiences.
- Promote and run exciting poolside activities.
- Monitor pool conditions and maintain a safe environment.
About You
We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals who naturally connect with a diverse range of people. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Strong swimming skills and a keen eye for detail to monitor busy pool times.
- A previous lifeguard qualification is a plus, but we’re happy to support you in obtaining your NPLQ with us!
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Flexibility, reliability, and punctuality are essential, as you’ll be a vital part of our team.
Butlins Swim Test Includes:
- Swimming 50m in under 75 seconds
- Treading Water
- Surface Diving
- Climbing out of the pool unaided
