Are you ready to take your programming skills to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a talented Programmer to join our dynamic team in the heart of Glastonbury, Somerset. In this exciting role, you’ll help us maintain our high service standards while ensuring that all works are meticulously scoped and documented.

Location & Hours

Location: Glastonbury, Somerset – Site-based, 5 days per week

Hours: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week

Your Responsibilities

As a Programmer, you will be at the forefront of planning and coordinating our works programmes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, permitting, and scheduling both planned and reactive works in line with Streetworks requirements.
  • Producing detailed works handovers and effectively scheduling tasks for operational teams.
  • Liaising with clients, third parties, and stakeholders to optimize network occupancy.
  • Assessing plant and material needs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring cost-effective planning.
  • Maintaining clear and accurate programmes with up-to-date information and ensuring compliance throughout.
