Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Traffic Management Manager to join our dynamic A66 Northern Trans-Pennine team based in Penrith. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on a major highway scheme!

Location

Penrith - Enjoy the flexibility of remote working, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours

This is a Permanent Full-time position, requiring 45 hours per week. We are open to considering condensed hours and can offer flexibility on hours to suit your needs.

Salary

Competitive salary ranging from £55,000 - £63,000 per year, plus:

  • Private healthcare
  • £5.9k annual car allowance
  • Additional benefits

Your Responsibilities

As our Traffic Management Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the successful delivery of all traffic management aspects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Traffic Management Lead and Project Manager with resource allocation, design, and compliance with National Highways governance.
  • Assisting in the production of method statements, risk assessments, and traffic management drawings.
  • Chairing liaison meetings with the Police, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Conducting independent audits of network traffic management and traffic safety audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, including Kier and National Highways policies.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you possess:

  • Strong experience in traffic management and a solid understanding of traffic management design (IHE-TTME).
  • Relevant qualifications such as NHSS 12A Foremen, NHSS 12A TSCO/TSS, NHSS 12D M7, and SSSTS.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A full driving licence and National Highways Passport.
  • A collaborative approach with a genuine focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions.
