Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility available!
Salary: Starting from £40,000 per annum
Sector: Architecture and Building Solutions

Your Role
This is a pivotal leadership position within Kier Design's expanding Architecture team. You will:
- Lead the delivery of complex projects from concept to completion.
- Ensure high-quality design and commercial performance.
- Collaborate in a supportive environment to drive design excellence.
- Engage with clients and promote the Architecture discipline both internally and externally.

- Confident in leading design teams through all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work?
- Commercially savvy with strong financial and time management skills?
- Passionate about mentoring and developing a high-performing team?
- Comfortable representing Architecture at a national level?
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Architect, you will:
- Lead the delivery of architectural projects across all RIBA stages.
- Manage commercial performance, including budget and resources.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee design production and contract administration.
- Drive bids and feasibility studies to secure new work.
- Mentor and support fellow architects in the team.
- Build strong client relationships and promote Kier Design.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
- Exceptional architectural design skills with strong technical detailing.
- Proven experience in leading and managing design teams.
- In-depth knowledge of regulations and project delivery.
- Experience in contract administration and site delivery.
- Advanced BIM capabilities using Revit/Autodesk.
- Experience across all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work.
