Your Role

As a Building Services Manager, you will be the go-to expert for building services, guiding projects from tender to delivery and commissioning. You’ll collaborate with project teams, supply chain partners, clients, and designers to ensure the successful delivery of MEP elements while upholding Kier's high standards.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Provide technical expertise and advice to bid teams and project leaders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage the selection, appointment, and performance of specialist subcontractors to meet Kier standards.
• Work closely with design teams to coordinate M&E services and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Oversee the commissioning process and ensure the completion of as-built and maintenance manuals.
• Review technical submittals and devise solutions to emerging challenges during the build phase.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

• Possess strong technical knowledge of M&E design and modern mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline (NVQ/HND/HNC/CIBSE).
• Have experience in a main contracting environment, managing specialist subcontract partners.
• Have successfully delivered large building services packages valued at £5M+ throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Hold an SMSTS, CSCS Card, and a full UK driving licence.
