Are you ready to make a splash? At Butlin's, our lifeguards play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a fantastic time while staying safe in our exciting Splash Waterworld! Your primary focus will be on guest safety, but you'll also have the opportunity to engage with visitors and provide top-notch customer service.

About the Role

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Monitor pool activities to ensure guest safety.
• Promote and run fun poolside activities, creating unforgettable experiences.
• Work on a flexible rota, covering 8 hours over the weekend, either split between Saturday and Sunday or in one full day.
• Be available during peak times, including school holidays and festive seasons.

Compensation for this role is £12.71 per hour.

About You

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can connect with a diverse range of guests. Here’s what you need to bring:

• A strong swimming ability and excellent attention to detail.
• A previous lifeguard qualification is a plus, but we are happy to support you in obtaining your NPLQ certification.
• The ability to work both as part of a team and independently when supervising areas.
• Flexibility, reliability, and punctuality, as our business operates 7 days a week.

Butlin's Swim Test Includes:

• Swimming 50m in under 75 seconds
• Treading Water
• Surface Diving
• Climbing out of the pool unaided
