Your Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide flexible and individualized care packages for our young residents.
  • Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of our young people.
  • Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships.
  • Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working with children and young people, with an understanding of the challenges they face.
  • The ability to work a 3-week rolling rota, including 24-hour shifts and sleep-ins.
  • A willingness to learn and grow, with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Residential Childcare Diploma) or a commitment to obtain one.
  • Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Youth Work is a plus!

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position with a shift pattern on rotation. You will enjoy:

  • A competitive salary: £33,349.58 for unqualified staff, up to £35,935.36 for qualified staff (Level 3/4), including sleep-in shifts.
  • A sleep-in allowance of £64 per night.
  • 1 weekend off every 3 weeks.
