Salary: £28,000 - £39,520

Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our nurturing team, working together to achieve the best outcomes for our pupils and making a real difference in their lives.

The Role

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:

  • Teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant.
  • Plan, prepare, and present lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your students.
  • Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure a high standard of education.
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote engagement and learning.
  • Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures in line with our values.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Successful SEN teaching experience.
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every pupil.

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
