Key Responsibilities

As the Registered Manager, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
  • Lead staff practice and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency working.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring care plans and safeguarding procedures are implemented effectively.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a qualified and experienced leader who can demonstrate:

  • A Leadership and Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding, including relevant legislation.
  • Experience managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.

Working Conditions

This is a 40-hour per week role, where you will manage your own rota and participate in the on-call rota. Your commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.

  • 32 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year for the first three years.
