Are you ready to make a splash? At Butlin's, our lifeguards play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a fantastic time while staying safe in our Splash Waterworld! Your primary focus will be on guest safety, but you'll also have the opportunity to engage with visitors and provide top-notch customer service.

About the Role

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Monitor pool activities to ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Promote and run exciting poolside activities, creating unforgettable experiences.
• Work part-time, with 8 hours over the weekend, either split between Saturday and Sunday or in a single full day.
• Be available during busy school holiday periods, including half terms, summer, and Christmas.

Compensation for this role is £12.71 per hour.

About You

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who:

• Have a natural ability to engage with a diverse range of people.
• Are strong swimmers with excellent attention to detail.
• Possess a lifeguard qualification (preferred but not essential). We are happy to support you in obtaining your NPLQ with us!
• Can work independently as well as part of a fantastic team.
• Exhibit flexibility, reliability, and punctuality, as you will be an essential part of our team.

To ensure you meet our standards, you will need to pass the Butlin's Swim Test, which includes:

• Swimming 50m in under 75 seconds
• Treading water
• Surface diving
• Climbing out of the pool unaided
