Key Details

Location: Falmer / Chatham - Remote working available, with 3 days on-site.

Hours: Full-time (40 hours) - We’re open to condensed working, part-time, or job share options.

Your Role

Join our exciting £3.1bn Strategic Development Partnership with Southern Water and play a vital role in our Commercial team. This is your chance to contribute to meaningful projects while developing your career in a supportive environment that values your input and wellbeing.

What Will You Be Responsible For?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be an integral part of our Commercial team, focusing on:

• Managing project finances, including preparing applications for payment and monitoring costs.
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors and clients to ensure smooth financial processes.
• Supporting procurement activities and providing commercial evaluations.
• Identifying changes and assisting with Change Control procedures.
• Ensuring all contractual notifications are accurately in place.

What Are We Looking For?

This role is perfect for you if:

• You have experience with NEC contracts with Target Costs.
• You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy building relationships across teams.
• You have a background in the construction, water, or civil infrastructure sectors.
• You’re comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• You possess strong communication skills and enjoy engaging with clients.
