Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering a portfolio of design and build projects on the Yorkshire Water AMP8 Complex Non-Infrastructure Framework. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the commercial and contractual management of projects, while identifying and mitigating risks.
- Managing target cost contracts, including forecasting, cost/value reporting, and final accounts.
- Maximizing cash flow, profitability, and value through effective change control and procurement.
- Overseeing subcontract placement, valuation, payment, and financial performance.
- Providing commercial insights and financial updates to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Supporting and developing junior team members while fostering a positive, inclusive team culture.
What We’re Looking For
We seek candidates with:
- Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor (or similar) role within construction, civils, or utilities.
- Strong NEC contract experience, particularly with Target Cost mechanisms.
- Framework delivery experience, preferably in the utilities or water sector.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills and strong commercial judgment.
