Are you ready to take your programming skills to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a talented Programmer to join our dynamic team in the beautiful town of Glastonbury, Somerset. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in maintaining our high service standards while ensuring that all works are meticulously scoped and documented.

Location & Hours

Location: Glastonbury, Somerset – Site-based, 5 days per week

Hours: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week

Your Responsibilities

As a Programmer, you’ll be at the heart of planning and coordinating works programmes. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Planning, permitting, and scheduling both planned and reactive works in line with Streetworks requirements.
  • Producing detailed works handovers and scheduling tasks for operational teams.
  • Liaising with clients, third parties, and stakeholders to optimize network occupancy.
  • Assessing plant and material needs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring cost-effective planning.
  • Maintaining clear and accurate programmes with correct information while ensuring compliance throughout.
