Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge? We’re looking for a Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Shropshire on a 3-month fixed-term contract at our Longden Road depot.

Location & Hours

Location: Shropshire - Longden Road, SY3 9EL

Hours: 40 hours per week - site based

Contract: 3 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £37,796 per annum

Your Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within our highways maintenance team. As a Supervisor, you will:

  • Oversee site teams across the Shropshire region, ensuring that all works are delivered safely, on budget, and within agreed timescales.
  • Plan and coordinate programmes of work, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Conduct regular safety site inspections and promote best practices across all sites.
  • Manage and develop your site team, supporting their career progression and competency development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including CDM regulations and traffic management requirements.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to enhance standards and celebrate team successes.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You hold a Site Safety Management certificate (SMSTS or SSSTS).
  • You have experience in highways maintenance at a supervisory level.
  • You possess an NRSWA Supervisor card and a full driving licence.
  • You’re confident in planning, managing teams, and maintaining safety standards.
  • You’re comfortable using digital tools and Excel to support your work.
