Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Specific Hours: 39 hours per week
Salary: Up to £64,280 (includes Ofsted and Occupancy bonuses)

We are excited to invite a passionate Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our brand new 4-bed home in Doncaster!
Main Purpose of the Job
As the Registered Manager, you will hold the key responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring we deliver exceptional care that promotes the rights and individuality of each young person. You will lead a dedicated team of care workers, guiding them to achieve positive outcomes in the physical, psychological, emotional, and social development of our residents.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Service and Practice:
- Develop and deliver high-quality care in line with relevant legislation and organizational policies.
- Maintain adherence to health and safety guidelines, ensuring staff are well-trained.
- Keep accurate records for both young people and employees, implementing effective monitoring systems.
- Innovate childcare techniques and actively participate in the senior management team.
- Chair internal and external meetings, and take on-call responsibilities as needed.
- Oversee admissions and discharges, ensuring a smooth process for all.

Human Resource Management:
- Participate in the recruitment process, ensuring all checks are completed.
- Supervise and appraise staff in line with organizational policies.
- Support continuous professional development and ensure mandatory training is met.
- Manage rotas and monthly expenses efficiently.

Management of Physical and Financial Resources:
- Monitor the service budget and ensure financial targets are met.
- Ensure the maintenance of the service premises and equipment is up to standard.

External Affairs:
- Promote the organization positively with external agencies and the public.
- Liaise with commissioners regarding admissions.
- Lead psychotherapy leadership and management forums.
Required Attributes
- Enthusiasm for providing the highest quality care and education.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
