About Us

Founded in 1987 by a group of dedicated foster parents, ISP is proud to be the UK's first independent foster care agency. With over 30 years of experience, we have always placed the child at the center of our mission, providing them with the specialized support they need. Our Integrated Service Programme encompasses a wide range of professionals, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all working collaboratively to support foster parents and the children in their care.

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:

  • Provide direct support to foster parents, managing a realistic caseload that allows for meaningful supervision.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing foster parents' practices.
  • Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:

  • Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
  • Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation in children's services.
  • Holds a full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position that comes with the following benefits:
