Located in the heart of Banbury, our school accommodates up to 84 pupils and is committed to a holistic approach to education. Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in:

• Enhancing the well-being, readiness for learning, resilience, and behavior management of our pupils.
• Collaborating with the education team to support young people's personal and academic development.
• Promoting positive learning behaviors and leading classes during PPA and absence cover.
• Delivering engaging enrichment activities and supporting lessons with academic understanding.
• Responding to immediate concerns and creating valuable lesson information.
• Advocating for our school ethos and leading initiatives like reading and phonics.
• Building strong relationships with parents/carers and participating in transitions and consultations.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A strong educational background with at least GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics.
• Previous experience in a similar role, such as HLTA, and working with pupils with SEMH needs.
• Confidence to take on additional responsibilities in areas like Food Hygiene, Forest School, or School Yoga.
• Experience in behavior management techniques.
• A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
