Your Role

As a vital part of our resort, you won’t be confined to just one department. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to work across various teams, ensuring our guests enjoy a fantastic experience during their stay at Butlin’s.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Ensure a fun and safe environment for guests in our pool and on the flumes at Splash Waterworld.
• Exhibit excellent attention to detail, prioritizing safety at all times.
• Engage with guests through warm and friendly customer service.
• Lead and support poolside activities, creating unforgettable moments for our guests.

About You

We’re looking for a high-spirited, fun-loving multi-tasker who enjoys learning and working alongside a like-minded team. As a Team Member Plus, your week will include:

• Cleaning our accommodations on Mondays and Fridays.
• Working as a lifeguard for the remainder of your contracted hours.

No two days will be the same, and you’ll relish the variety of working with different team members and guests. If you already have a lifeguard qualification, that’s fantastic! If not, we’ll provide you with the training you need, including the NPLQ course.

Upon selection, you’ll be invited to complete and pass a Butlin’s swim test, which includes:

• Swimming 50m in under 75 seconds
• Treading water
• Surface diving
• Climbing out of the pool unaided
