If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and take pride in delivering exceptional food, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

About the Role

As a key player in our buffet restaurants, you will:

  • Lead and develop a talented kitchen team, working closely with the Junior Kitchen Manager.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, setting a high standard for the Commis Chefs you support, train, and mentor.
  • Help your team grow while ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and safely.

This is a full-time, permanent role, offering:

  • 35 hours per week, working 5 days over 7, including weekends.
  • Breakfast shifts from 4am–12pm and dinner shifts from 11am–7:30pm.
  • Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of our business.
  • Live-in accommodation may be available for those over 18 relocating to the area (subject to DBS).

About You

We’re seeking chefs with:

  • Proven experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen—this role is not suitable for beginners.
  • A hardworking, reliable, and determined attitude, with a commitment to high standards.
  • A genuine understanding of how great food and teamwork enhance the guest experience.
  • A Level 3 Food Safety qualification and confidence in leading others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills in managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining excellent hygiene and safety practices.

Our chefs play a vital role in keeping guests returning to Butlin’s, so we’re looking for someone who is not only skilled but also fun, team-spirited, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for every guest, every time!

Key Responsibilities

As part of our cleaning team, you will help keep our resort clean, tidy, and pristine. If you’re ready to go the extra mile for our team and guests, we’d love to welcome you!

  • Clean our main venues and toilets, using electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment (full training provided).
  • Handle cleaning chemicals safely (full training provided).
  • Perform external road cleaning, including emptying general waste and recycling bins.
  • Move furniture to accommodate different activities within venues.
  • Clean and disinfect toilets and changing rooms.

Normal working hours for this role are:

  • Evening shifts from 5pm - 2am.
  • Applicants must be over 18 due to lone working requirements.
  • Start and finish times may vary depending on the break type.
