About Us
Located in Banbury, Oxfordshire, our school has the capacity for up to 84 pupils, providing a safe and supportive environment for children aged 5 to 18 with a range of complex needs. Your Role
As a School Administrator, you will play a vital role in our school community. Your responsibilities will include:

Reception Duties:
- Provide a warm welcome for parents, visitors, and colleagues.
- Answer the telephone in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure visitors sign in and are provided with a visitor's badge.
- Maintain the shared calendar and update school information.
- Assist with refreshments for visitors and support during evening events.
- Manage resource ordering and inform staff of deliveries.
- Distribute internal and external correspondence.
- Coordinate ID cards for new starters and governors.
- Liaise with transport services for pupil transport.

Administrative Support:
- Provide full administrative support to the head teacher and school management team.
- Develop and maintain efficient systems and processes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Strong organizational skills with a systematic approach to workload management.
- Effective time management and planning abilities.
- Experience in developing systems and processes.
- Proficiency in SIMS and relevant policies/codes of practice.
- Ability to work within allocated budgets and monitor expenditure.
- Confidentiality and the ability to relate well to children and adults.
- A collaborative spirit and understanding of school roles and responsibilities.
Working Conditions
This is a term-time only position, requiring 37.5 hours per week. The basic salary is £21,257.48.
