Position: Full Time/Permanent (Casual)
Salary: £12.79 - £14.50 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Location: Bournemouth
Hours: Shift pattern on rotation - ad hoc cover

We are on the lookout for passionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Bournemouth on a casual basis. This role offers you the flexibility to work hours that fit your schedule, with no contractual obligations. You will be part of a collaborative team that tailors care packages to meet the unique needs of each young person.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Provide high levels of support and guidance to ensure the safety and well-being of our young people.
- Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with the children and young adults in our care.
- Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of our young people.
- Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, accepting direction and guidance.
- Be flexible in your availability to cover shifts, including sickness and annual leave.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children and young people, with an understanding of the challenges they face.
- Willingness to work towards a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
- A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- A commitment to learning and personal development.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us).
- Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus.
