Hours
40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary
From £27,976 plus overtime, call out, and standby

Your Role
As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will be an integral part of our highways maintenance team, ensuring efficient and timely services. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Responding to highway defects within designated timescales, including the installation and removal of emergency traffic management signage.
- Delivering minor improvement works to enhance the Somerset network.
- Using tablet devices to provide accurate records of works and incidents.
- Operating a variety of plant and equipment safely and effectively.
- Promoting customer care by collaborating with colleagues and interacting politely with clients and the general public.
