Position Overview: Role: Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Location: Mitcham, [School Name] Focus Area: Key Stage 2 (KS2) Contract Type: Ongoing, reviewed at the end of each term Start Date: ASAP End Date: July 24 Post Code: CR4 2YA Key Responsibilities: As an LSA, you will play a pivotal role in providing support and guidance to students as they navigate their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include: Offering one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs Collaborating with teachers to adapt and implement lesson plans Cultivating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere Encouraging student participation and nurturing social and emotional development Assisting with classroom organization and management Qualifications: While previous SEN (Special Educational Needs) experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We welcome candidates who are dedicated, patient, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact on students' lives. An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is a mandatory requirement for this role. Candidates must possess a valid enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one to be considered for this position.
