Location: London Plant - West Thurrock

Our West Thurrock site has been a cornerstone of our operations since the 1940s, producing household favorites such as Ariel, Fairy, and Lenor.
We are on the lookout for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our dynamic team at the West Thurrock Operating Centre. Your role will be crucial in supporting freight deliveries to customers and other P&G sites across the UK.
Your Role:
As part of our 24-hour operation, you will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering a variety of night shift start times between 16:00 and 03:00. Shifts typically last between 8 to 12 hours, averaging 40 hours per week, with flexibility to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver P&G products to customers across the UK using curtain side drop trailers.
- Collect loaded trailers at the P&G Plant, ensuring the load is secure before delivery.
- Wait for trailers to be unloaded and return to the P&G plant.
- Potentially shuttle between different P&G Distribution Centres, picking up and delivering containers.

- Base Pay: £16.80 per hour
- Market Premium: £3.00 per hour for all hours worked
- Shift Premium: £4.00 per hour for unsociable hours (17:00 - 07:00 on weekdays, all hours on weekends)
- Overtime Pay: 1.5 times the combined rate for overtime from Monday to Saturday, and 2 times for Sundays.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A current HGV Class 1 license and valid driver CPC
- At least 2 years of experience in commercially driving Class 1 HGV
- Experience in palletized goods distribution
- No more than 6 points on your driving license, with no Dangerous Driving (DD) or Drink Driving (DR) endorsements
- References from previous employers (preferred)
