What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
- Leading the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children.
- Mentoring and developing Room Leaders, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Overseeing the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making necessary adaptations to support those with additional needs.
- Building strong relationships with parents and keeping them informed of their child's development.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
- Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager, or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- The ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
