Our Integrated Services Programme (ISP) encompasses a network of professionals—including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists—who collaborate to ensure that both children and foster parents receive the support they deserve.

What We Offer

  • Salary: Up to £39,500 per annum
  • Contract: Full Time
  • Car Allowance: £3,000
  • Annual Leave: 30 days, increasing to 35 with length of service + bank holidays

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
  • Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is:

  • Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
  • Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
  • Has a full driving license and unrestricted access to a car.

Working Conditions

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes both quality assurance and training roles for prospective and current foster parents. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, with the cost covered by ISP.
