Founded in 1987 by a group of committed foster parents, we are proud to be the UK's first independent foster care agency. With over 30 years of experience, we have always placed the child at the heart of our mission. Our Integrated Services Programme (ISP) surrounds children and foster parents with a comprehensive range of support services, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists. Together, we create a nurturing environment that promotes healing and growth.

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload.
  • Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a qualified and experienced professional who is:

  • Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
  • Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • A strong report writer who can meet strict deadlines.
  • Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable about relevant legislation in children's services.
  • Possesses a full driving license and has unrestricted access to a car.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and training for foster parents. You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
