What You'll Do:
As a Casual Residential Support Worker, your role will be dynamic and fulfilling. You will:
- Support young people with their daily routines
- Build positive relationships and become a trusted adult
- Help them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
- Ensure they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day
What We’re Looking For:
While experience with children or young people is beneficial, it’s not a requirement. What matters most is your attitude and desire to help. Here’s what we need from you:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or equivalent (or be willing to work towards it)
- Possess a full UK driving licence and access to a car, as travel is required
- Be friendly and able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues
- Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
Working Conditions:
This is a casual contract with a shift pattern on rotation, providing ad hoc cover. You will be compensated with a competitive salary ranging from £12.79 to £14.50 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience.
