Your Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

• Support young people with their daily routines
• Build positive relationships and become a trusted adult
• Help them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
• Ensure they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day

No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident in your role from day one. Your passion and willingness to learn are what truly matter!

Working Pattern

Your shifts will be on a rotating schedule, typically averaging 38 hours per week. Each shift lasts 24 hours (with sleep-in shifts included), and you will usually work two or three shifts in a row. Flexibility is key, as you will work a mix of weekdays and weekends, with opportunities for overtime if desired.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should:

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or equivalent (or be willing to work towards it)
• Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car (travel is required)
• Be friendly and able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues
• Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
