Every day will be unique, and you will play a vital role in supporting young people, building positive relationships, and helping them reach their full potential.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Support young people with their daily routines
  • Build positive relationships and become a trusted adult
  • Help them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
  • Ensure they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day

Experience working with children or young people is a plus, but we welcome those who are new to this field. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident in your role from day one.

Working Pattern

Your shifts will be on a rotating schedule, typically consisting of:

  • 24-hour shifts (you are paid to sleep at the home)
  • Two to three shifts in a row
  • A mix of weekdays and weekends
  • Opportunities for overtime if desired

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or equivalent (or be willing to work towards it)
  • Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car (travel required)
  • Be friendly and able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues
  • Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
