Experience

Essential criteria
  • Substantial experience at band 5 and in clinical specialty
  • Evidence of professional leadership, leading to innovation in practice
  • Evidence of multi disciplinary/multi agency working.


Desirable criteria
  • Experience of clinical audit
  • Experience of research activities


Skilll and Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Evidence of teaching and assessing skills/ability.
  • Clinically competent in name clinical area/speciality
  • Proven workload management of self and of a others.
  • Proven ability to problem solve.
  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable
  • Effective organisational skills
  • Good analytical and clinical decision making skills
  • Awareness of Clinical Effectiveness process


Desirable criteria
  • Familiar with NHS IT administration systems such as Ice/Ormis


Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • First level registration - (RN(Adult
  • Evidence of CPD in relevant specialty
  • Evidence of Level 6/7 studies
  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Qualified to function as mentor for pre registration students


Desirable criteria
  • Appropriate management or leadership courses.
