Your Role

As the Supervisor Plus, you will be the main point of contact for your team, driving operational success and maintaining high standards across the department. Reporting to the Manager, you will:

  • Ensure daily operational plans are fulfilled, managing tasks and objectives effectively.
  • Support and coach your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Monitor compliance and operational standards, especially during our busy intake days on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Flexibly work across departments to maintain high standards and guest satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities

As a hands-on leader, you will:

  • Drive key targets linked to departmental goals, such as retail upselling.
  • Conduct CAFF audits and other departmental audits to ensure compliance.
  • Capture guest feedback and monitor NPS, taking action where necessary.
  • Foster strong communication within your area, ensuring that key messages are delivered effectively.
  • Support the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to performance management.

Key Focus Areas Outside of Accommodation

In addition to your accommodation responsibilities, you will also enhance the guest experience in our Restaurants and Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) by:

  • Championing Food Safety: Lead by example in applying food safety standards and ensuring compliance.
  • Delivering a Warm, Welcoming Experience: Create a friendly environment where guests feel valued and supported.
  • Coaching & Developing the Team: Provide on-shift coaching to enhance guest interaction and service flow.
  • Driving Upselling: Encourage the team to recommend starters, desserts, and add-ons during guest interactions.
  • Increasing Wet Sales: Ensure quick beverage service and coach the team on effective drink suggestions.
  • Effective Checkbacks: Empower team members to confirm guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
  • Celebrating Success: Recognize and share great performances to build a motivated team culture.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent leadership skills with a knack for coaching and supporting your team.
  • Strong attention to detail for audit and observation activities.
  • Experience in guest-facing roles, handling queries and complaints with ease.
  • A track record of driving sales and promotions to meet key objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
